Farrow Wrap Basic Compression Legpiece
Farrow Wrap Basic Compression Legpiece is for mild to severe lymphedema patients who need a cost-effective solution that can adapt if their limb volume changes. FarrowWrap® is the patented Elastic Short-Stretch™ garment that gives the benefits of bandaging without the hassle. FarrowWrap® is perfect for patients with fluctuating edema who have difficulty donning traditional compression stockings. FarrowWrap® BASIC offers a Value fabric with quality compression. Uses double-sided VELCRO® Brand product so it is possible to change band length and trim as limb reduces.
This BASIC garment comes with the FarrowHybrid foot compression sock.
It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.
Measurement Points
Obtain the following 3 measurements: (a) Mid or widest calf circumference (at C); (b) Least ankle circumference (at B), just above malleoli or bumps on either side of ankle; (c) Length of leg following posterior contour from 2 finger widths below posterior knee crease to the ground, A-D
Now, match the OTS midcalf and ankle circumferences to a respective size. If the mid-calf AND ankle circumferences do not both match a single size, then a custom legpiece is necessary along with all associated measurements.
If the circumferences do match an OTS size, then compare A-D to the OTS regular length and tall length measurements. If A-D falls within 1 - 1.5 centimeters of one of these lengths, then in the space next to the appropriate OTS length enter the number of legpieces you would like in that given size. If the measured length is not within 1.5 centimeters of either length, a custom legpiece is required along with all associated measurements. Enter the number of legpieces desired.
